New Zealand Stopovers via Asia and Australia:

Also if you're going to New Zealand you're allowed 1 stop in each direction in Asia

Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mumbai, or Tokyo.

And you're allowed 1 stop in each direction at Perth, Cairns, Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide (When the stopover is taken at Perth, Darwin or Cairns a surface sector is required between Perth, Darwin and Cairns and Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide.)

New Zealand Stopovers via The USA:

And if you're going to New Zealand you're allowed 1 stop in each direction in the USA.
